It is brand new, never used. Just not NIB.
I had an older version but I bought the Summit brand because I wanted the map lights. Almost out of warranty and my compass locked up, was always reading a southerly direction. (I have since discovered that if you disconnect battery plus for a few minutes, it will do a hard reset and work normally) Summit did a warranty exchange. I used the new mirror box to ship the older one back to Summit. I just went ahead and installed my old mirror back on.
My original purchase price was $250, they are now going for $200. This one is $140 shipped (to the lower 48)
