They should be about the same brightness on running lamp, but brake portion is significantly brighter, no?

I bought the Quadratec because I wanted to have the license plate light, even though I hate Quadratech. What I dont like about them is the profile is actually HIGHER than stock. Also a few people have told me one or both lights looked on in the sunlight. Some sort of prism effect.

What is the reason for the license plate relocation? Looks to be moved down about 2 inches.

The factory housing is smaller than the lense and the plate holder actually tucks up under it.

I'd be willing to bet they are plug and play. You dont go through all that trouble and not source the right connectors.

Both, I'm writing the instructions right now for DIY, plug and play will be available for a fee.

It won’t work with the factory flasher, but cruise shouldn’t be a problem.

You will need a Novita LM470 flasher. And no, other options (EP26/27) are NOT good enough despite what you read on the forums.
