Man, that’s one good looking rig.View attachment 269481View attachment 269482Better shots with the vents
Almost invisible is like saying that was an almost inaudible fart. Those vents are almost invisible. Great job
He hasn't got to the point where he outdrives the short arms yet. He is a bit grumpy about the power loss the SwayLOC causes every time we install one though. When's the mid arm install?
Well you got 2 steps further than I did with those vents. How are you cutting the holes, just making 16 hole saw holes?
Cutting these holes were easy, cutting the hole for the cold air intake for the turbo a couple years ago was gut wrenching.
Pro-tip if you are removing the hood and not replacing the hinges.
Thanks, good to know for the next time.Pro-tip if you are removing the hood and not replacing the hinges.
Pop the cowl off. The hinges bolt down to the firewall support under there and you don't screw up the paint around the hinge edges on the hood or fuck up the hood hinge fasteners.
Ok that's another stellar testimony. I needs this in my life. The swayloc has so significantly changed the way the jeep handles I want to drive it like a complete asshole. I can take turns in the rig now with the same feeling of grounded stability I’d get from a sports sedan. It’s incredible how different the rig feels. The swayloc coupled with outboard tuned shocks has the jeep performing at rally car levels.
That's racist.Pure eye candy! The only thing that would make it look any better would be if it was white.
What, white lives don't matter? That's racist.
My wife was just saying the other day when she drove the Jeep... It feels like it's gonna tip over in corners... Guess it's time for an upgrade.View attachment 269331View attachment 269332View attachment 269333View attachment 269334Well @mrblaine has outdone himself yet again. New to me 241 transfer case installed and a custom flying magnet switch for the 4wheel indicator light. Skim module installed and now all locks match my ignition key. Jet accuspeed to calibrate my speedo. New front and rear driveshafts and a swayloc installed.
My only problem with this setup is the underlying schizophrenia that has now awoken in me. The swayloc has so significantly changed the way the jeep handles I want to drive it like a complete asshole. However, now with the 241 I also want to get off the road and just crawl slower than grandma. Such good problems to have. I am so impressed with this jeep.
Of course they do, you just can't say it out loud. What, white lives don't matter?
To a 911?My wife was just saying the other day when she drove the Jeep... It feels like it's gonna tip over in corners... Guess it's time for an upgrade.
Thanks! The color matched vents look amazing. I want to do that to mine eventually.
Thanks Dylan, really appreciate it buddyThose vents look amazing! Making me regret doing the whole hood louver.
I gotta give it to you though man, you have great taste. You and @ObiWanWebWheelr are probably my two favorite and best looking jeeps on this forum IMHO
