Coordination compared to two years ago is vastly different...
Very true. Not much to coordinate as there are so few of us out here. Many who had planned to come have cancelled at the last minute - I’m not even sure who is out here at the moment beyond the small group I hooked up with.
I see Jeff has already fixed a Bronco. Good job Jeff. @NashvilleTJ
Kane Creek has something like 50 water crossings.
Is the trail fairly challenging? Trail Mater has been rescuing people on it lately.
The lower portion through the valley is quite pretty, and you are in the trees a lot running the creek. Fairly easy for the most part. The last few miles includes a run called Hamburger Hill, which is quite spicy, and a bit Cliffhanger-Like. That section is pretty challenging, and there have been lives lost there.
The trail itself is 13.5 miles - takes 3 or 4 hours. Trail head is about 10 miles or so from Moab, and it dumps you out in 191 15 or 20 miles south of town. How long does it take?
Wanted to do it last year but it rained and we didn’t want to deal with deep water.
I'm thinking about doing Hells on Tuesday and would prefer to do it with some others (rather than solo)...
