Opinions on Old Man Emu Ultimate TJ / LJ Wrangler Kit?

These "lift kits" basically put you at a starting point. It's up to you to do some research and cycle the suspension to fine tune the lift height and shock selection. To gain more up travel, you would need a shorter shock. A shorter shock will decrease your amount of down travel, so it's a compromise. Your limiter on droop will be the shocks. Yes, it's probably not good on the shock to be the limiting strap, but far less violent to it than bottoming it out on up travel.

Thanks!

And if I want more travel in both directions ... a higher lift and longer shocks?

I am not sure if this question was meant for me , but where I stand on my Jeep is the entire front end has been done , waiting on my springs to come in From old man Emu have my shocks , my body lift , but not motor mount lifts yet, have my , new bump stops , Have my new Currie adjustable track bars front and rear . Have everything to build the new rear suspension and am gonna work on that today . Waiting on my sway bar disconnects still that I ordered with the springs . So doing what I can for now . Be glad to get it done so I can get my tires and then off to shop to have gears (5:13 is the way I am thinking with my automatic transmission) installed . Don’t ask me about how much this all costs because I quit adding up receipts and just have been putting them in a envelope 😊
