It's not easy...I had my fender off, and got in thru the side with a very stubby socket...still don't feel that I have it tight enough.

Yep, they are not easy to get to. Gonna try one of my mechanic's stubby 15mm wobble sockets and a bunch of extensions and see if I have better luck.

Ok, what's the best way of tightening the exhaust collector bolts? I tried a wobbly with a 15mm socket and some extensions, but the dang precats won't let me get a good connection to the bolts heads on 3 out of 4 bolts.
BTW @BoldlyGoing , good call on the loose collector bolts, the one that I could get a bite on, which happened to be the forward precat rearward bolt was super loose. Probably what thru the O2 code, but I replaced it anyway with as many miles that are on it.

I was able to reach down from the top with a gear wrench and kinda feel my way on to them. Just got them as tight as I could at the weird angle I was in.

So far so good- going on day4 of no CEL after having it on for like a year.

I wasn't happy with the Bracketron mount for my Mic, so I tried this. $2 from Amazon. It works better for me.

When I'm not using it, it is tucked away out if the way.

Spent a couple hours at the shop doing stuff. Adjusted the front pinion angle a bit. Got is at 0.6* to the drive shaft angle. Caster is at 6.8*

Added a bit more bumpstop to the rear to keep that pesky TB bracket in check.

I don't count the bolt head cause the jounce bumper will absorb it.

Moved the fuel pump wiring harness out of harms way. You can see where the TB bracket was hitting the tub.

On the CB mic holder (Bracketron), can you not move it up about 4”? I was about to pull the trigger on Q-Tec...but if it sucks I’ll do something else

Does it just stick on? I need to do something with mine. The radio is fine but when pushing the seat up to get the nerds in back the mic gets knocked off.

No, you can't. It's pretty much in a set spot. Moving up, if you could, would put it in the way of the passenger air bag operation.

Yep, 3m double tape, just stick it where it works best.

Thanks !! i went down to O'Reilly,s and they had the bulb. Just installed them and they worked great. Cant wait till tonight so I can see the difference .

Did you install both reverse LED's and Brake light LED's?

Any blinker modification needed to what you picked up at O'Reillys?

i only picked up the reverse lights. the blinker and stop are the same for now.

I was looking at my u joins while it was on the lift. Why the hell are they not greaseable ! My father in law looks at me and says “ I hope you have spares for the trail “ lol

U joints are disposable. Most switch to non greaseable for added strength.

Well my 32s and 2 inch BB ain’t exactly rock crawling. I do way more water crossings than rocks. Does that make a difference?

I prefer Spicer non-greasable u-joints myself. They are stronger, sealed better, and you don't have to climb under there and grease them.

Err. I guess 110k on my OE u joints. Non greaseable is not to shabby

U joints have seals on them so you should be fine. 110K on the stock u joints is pretty solid, can't expect much better than that.

I got 123K on mine, and just changed them as a preventative measure. They could've gone further.
