At 57 years old I’ve come to realize lots of people are assholes. I’m the first guy to help people yet rarely get help in return. Like you, I’ll bend over backwards to help somebody in a jamb only to get screwed over, have to chase money all the time, lend tools then have to hound people to get them back etc.
