This kit would do 98% of what you want to do. The big gun has a 1.4mm tip for basecoat/clearcoat paint. The 1.8mm tip works well for primer. The touch up gun works well for small jobs and touch ups.

I don't think I would need to primer it being as though I could sand down the existing paint to use as the base coat, right?
Or would a color like yellow need a specific color primer under it?

You want everything you want to paint to have a uniform base. Bright pigment colors like yellow and red tend to be transparent, so extra coats of base may be needed for coverage. If you can successfully wet sand the doors and not sand thru the base, then prime the rest with a color of choice and basecoat the primered areas till you have covered it to match the doors. Metallics and pearls are a whole other ball game. Honestly, pick a yellow wrap and just wrap it. It would save you a ton of learning curve and complaints from your wife and neighbors from all the toxic fumes coming out of your garage. Imagine getting a bill from your neighbor to remove overspray from his BMW.
