PO told me he installed e-lockers into front and rear Dana 44’s and regeared to 4.56. This the front diff. Is that a vacuum hose going into the bearing cap? The e-wiring is at the back of the diff. What’s going on here?
X2. That hose is from a small low pressure 5 psi compressor as that Rubicon locker is air actuated.Oem rubicon locker. The electrical at the back is just a position sensor to tell if it’s locked.
@Jerry Bransford or others, what is the “golf tee” trick with the position sensor? I saw it referenced but cant find the details. I don’t understand how that sensor moves.

Might want to replace the air hose while you're in there.
