I've searched for this subject here and found threads about alternatives like the Kia pump and the other vehicles that used it.
I've read that the Rubicon Dana 44 locker needs about 5 psi, or maybe like 3-8 psi, correct? So I got to thinking about low pressure pumps, like for fish tanks. After a bit of research I found this: https://binacapumps.com/model-bp-505-new-small-vacuum-pump/
Its max operating pressure is 0.4 bar, which is 5.8 psi. It comes in 12v or 24v. The specs say it's 3.5w, which is only about 0.3 amps at 12v, or 0.6a at 24v. It's rated for continuous operation. I'm trying to find out if it's ok to operate continuously at 0 cfm air flow, and if it releases pressure when turned off.
I see a few 24v units on eBay and I could get a 12/24v step up regulator.

It's 12v. Max pressure is 350mm Hg, which converts to about 6.8 psi.
Assuming that the pumps could operate continuously at zero flow, do you think this would work for the Rubi locker?
