How much does your re 4.5 met you? Are you running stock shock mounting positions or did you move them? If stock I would figure all lowering your jeep would achieve is changing the up vs down travel bias. The reason why I swapped out of my RE 3.5 was due to the springs unseating at full flex. I was worried I would lose one on a trail one day. There is no chance of that happening with the curries
I lost one on the Con coming down the Postpile, going out the Wentworth Springs entrance 19 years ago. I watched it go all the way to the bottom of the obstacle. Sway bar disconnects let it droop too much and no coil clamp on the passenger side. I just put it back in.How much does your re 4.5 met you? With my luck it would have been of a cliff and into a frozen river
I did loose my right front RE 3.5" lift spring in Moab 5 years ago. The bottom unseated. Got it back in. The drivers side has a clip holding the bottom part of the spring in. No clip on the right front. I put a clip on the right front when I got home. Was surprised the right front didn't have a clip holding it in place.How much does your re 4.5 met you? Mine didn't have a clip on the front right either. Maybe the same guy was on shift when ours were built.

The factory didn’t install a clip on the passenger side. I wonder if the Rubicon models have one.
Did they have a reason for not? Seems odd that the threads are there for it. @Thunderhead you have stock springs right? Do you have both?

Agreed. If that many people actually show up I would imagine it would be a shit show trying to get that many people up the trail.
