Here’s a few pictures of how mine came from savvy. Minus the paint of course.From Savvy, there’s a weld bead at each end of that seam. I asked a welder at work to connect them.

That’s what I was thinking. I ordered in November but it had already been in stock. Think manufacturing tweaks based on feedback from the field? That would be nice.

Yes, bolts to the side of it. The combination of slots 90 degrees to each other allows it to be adjusted to a wide range of positions.

There is no harm installing the bracket now that I can think of.
