My sound system is "harsh/bright/piercing" and very tiring to listen to. I have been through a lot of the audio threads in this forum and hoping some of you audio experts can point me in the right direction. Even at slow speeds or parked, the audio is tiring to listen to. Here is my installed system:
Head Unit: Alpine 164BT
Amp: Alpine KTP-445A (4 channel, 45W RMS, 4-Ohms)
Sub: Aline PWE-S8 installed under rear seat (8" powered subwoofer, 120w)
Speakers: Polk Audio DB522 (front and soundbar)
I have played with the crossover settings and EQ settings. I have tested all speakers with a polarity/phase tester and they are correct. Really missing mid-range and warm tones.
