Load and Reload get a lot of hate but if you took them out of the context of coming from Metallica and the attached expectations, they're actually still pretty dang good. The Outlaw Torn is fantastic, and the S&M version is even better.

That's gorgeous! They've matured. I don't follow, just live on the old stuff like the Unforgiven.

STP is one of my favorite bands of the era. Too bad about Scott Weiland. Seems we lose a lot of 'em to the same demon.

STP! I saw them live a couple of times when I was stationed in San Diego 91-93. They put on a great show both times.

Every time I talk about a 90's band, my 12yo says, "Let me guess. Died of an overdose." He's usually correct.

STP was a great band. Saw them 2 or 3 times at LA shows. I think they opened for Megadeath once, but not certain.
