This build started as soon as it hit my driveway. The first course of action was to fix the rust and take off the awful rear bumper. Once that was accomplished I started with the steering. This is my first TJ and I wanted something myself, my wife and kids to enjoy in the beautiful black hills. I'll make sure to add pictures for everything I do to this beast of a machine.

Today I finally took off the crossover steering and getting ready for the metal cloak trackbar and ZJ steering upgrade. Here are some pictures

Good call on ditching the crossover steering. For the life of me, I can't understand why people assume crossover steering is an "upgrade" for stock width TJ axles (it's not).

Yeah I was nervous on doing it, but I watched a lot of videos and read tons of stuff on getting it back to regular steering.

It's the right way to go. Crossover steering isn't necessary unless you're going with wider axles where the stock steering setup will no longer work.
