The newer headlights have a very sharp cutoff and are very bright so the angle of the front end of a vehicle makes how they look to you change pretty drastic

I interpret weird things as an opportunity to hammer down and never see those folks again.
It LOOKED LIKE a very rapid alternation of the headlite and a surrounding DRL, from half brightness to full. Not off and on, not just a flash of high beams either. Not a wig wag - at least not in the usual sense. I guess you could also describe it as a half to full brightness wig-wag between each headlite and its corresponding DRL (Not side-to-side) but MUCH faster, producing this twinkle effect. I've never seen anything like it which is why I was - and am - confused.
I hear you - it was VERY dark and the truck was close, I didn't want to pull out in front of him in case this signal meant "I'm coming through".
Yeah idgaf what people are or are not signaling to me that isn't how merging works in the first place.

I do that too.
Its that way in Greece and Egypt too. It *is* a totally different way of driving, but it works. Stupid Americans could never do it. Even most smart Americans couldn't do it!

My wife was able to drive OK in Greece on freeways and rural areas. She almost ran a cop off the road, so there's that. Nope, she didn't get pulled over - I think that there's no such thing as a moving violation in Greece - and probably Egypt too. But Goddess help you if you park in the wrong place, at least in Greece.

No real moving violations here either. There ARE speed cameras in.places. it's so evident because traffic will screech to the exact speed limit and bump back up immediately after.
I'll have to download some dashcam footage from the bike and post it up.

They have those speed cameras in Egypt too. Dunno about Greece as its been 24 years, but I'd guess they now have them too. Our driver "Achmed" got a camera based speeding ticket somewhere between Cairo and Siwa Oasis.
I was in the Twin Cities a couple weeks ago.
Pulled off the freeway onto a 4 lane side road, a car blows by me in the left lane.
I move to the left lane then into the turn lane.
As it got almost to the intersection, the car that passed me slammed on its brakes and put the left turn signal on. She stayed in her lane, however.
Being I was still a ways back and had plenty of time I slowed way down- almost to a stop- to give her time to make her turn.
Nope. She sat there. I was far enough back to see through her rear window that she was waving her arms all over the place.
Ok, I proceeded to pull up and make my turn. As I pass by her car, she's rolling her windows down and screaming at me like it was my fault!?
I should've stopped and blocked her turn till the light changed red.
