Way cool. I'll bet the kids loved it, indeed! Making memories. So much better than Great Wolf Lodge, huh?

Ahhh... and the irony of that statement is that we are going to Great Wolf Lodge in October for her birthday! I think I told you that though!

Wildlife Safari is very cool though. Even as an adult I would go there by myself. It’s cool seeing all those wild animals!

Took a trip to Wildlife Safari in Winston, Oregon this weekend.

This place was a load of fun. We spent 6 hours here in total. You get to drive in your car through the entire park. You can feed the animals when they come up to you with the food you can buy there. We saw Rhinos, Hippos, Bears, Bison, Gazella, Cheetas, Lions, Tigers, Wallabies, Emu, Ostrich, Deer, Giraffe, African Elephants, and so much more! The kids loved it.

I got in over my head on a regear .

Now I have an oil plug where the locker sensor pin in front was , because it was creating havoc....and I'm not pulling the carrier again this weekend. That pins a tricky one , even with the dowel and string trick.

I love the gearing .

My front shaft is out , needs u joints , getting a hum on deceleration they makes me wonder (hope actually) if shaft being out is part of it .

Lord help me if I attempt this again .

Funny thing is, I asked if I could bring the Jeep without the top and doors. They told me the only way I would be allowed to drive the Jeep through is if I kept the top and doors on. She said the animals can get aggressive and actually try to get inside the vehicle. I believe it too. Those Emus were ravenous over that food!

I can well believe that ....I still remember a trip through Longleat Sarfari Park in England when I was about 14, I think.....In the monkey enclosure they used to rip off wiper blades and aerials haha

I don’t doubt it. Those monkeys can be pretty vicious!

This weekend we went to one of the few Oregon beaches I haven't visited before, Rockaway Beach.

We stayed for a few nights in a 6-bedroom beach house we rented with my mom and step-dad, my sister, her husband, their kids, and my brother (and my wife and kids of course).

We had a great time, but we had to cut it short unfortunately to attend my dad's funeral, which was sprung on us at the last minute (after we had booked the beach trip) by my step mom.

Thank you! Everyone is always telling us how big he is, and it's true. He's off the charts for his size according to the doctor. Maybe he'll grow up to be a big kid, I guess we'll see!

Spent the weekend moving my son into his apartment in College Station. After studying abroad in Germany since the first part of May, he spent a couple weeks at home, and now he’s gone again. This is his senior year at A&M, and to say I’m proud of him is a huge understatement.
