Things you dislike on TJs?

I wonder if the paint scheme means something like you mentioned earlier, I just thought it was funny looking at the time. It could also be because its a JK.

Well that's what I was thinking, that maybe it means something, or it's team colors or something? I just say that because both of those Jeeps have the exact same color accent trim. It's not like one is blue and one is red, they're both the exact same colors. Seems to me like that's either got to be one of three things:

1) It stands for something
2) They know each other
3) It's one hell of a coincidence

I was actually thinking about getting halo headlight for mine nothing super fancy just a basic blue halo. Seems all of you dislike them so I might get disowned now haha

Piss on all that hate. I love my halos regardless, just think they're cool... and they change to any color I want!... but only drive around town w/white to avoid tickets. Guess what else? My wheels stick out of my wheel wells. If they didn't they'd rub my control arms when I turn.
It's your jeep and you drive it so make it how you want it. When they work for your cash and pay your bills they can buy or not buy your parts. Until then their opinion is just their opinion. So much hate for Mr. Smitty. I have run their bumpers and they were fine. Mine fit well, looked fine, didn't rust, and i didn't have to sell an organ to afford them. Although there are domestic made bumpers that are priced similarly...IF you don't mind finishing the bare steel yourself, and waiting for them to be built.

I agree plus sometimes what I don't like on one Jeep looks cool on another .... and if we are all honest what we all like about TJ's is that each one is individual and your own style based on what you do with it and your taste.

And speaking of which, you have one of the few Jeeps that manages to pull of chrome very nicely! I actually really like the chrome grille on yours. I think it probably has something to do with the color. Your color goes well with chrome!

I was actually thinking about Plasti-dipping the grill Black as I have a big of rust spot under the left headlight...plus is would go with the whole 'black n blue' theme I have running.....The jury is still out on that decision though :thinking:

I liked the halos when they originally appeared on the BMW E39 models.

What happened is that then every ricer in the world added them to their Honda, and I quickly started to dislike them. Now I don't even like them on BMWs anymore.

Sad that the ricers had to ruin it for me.

I intentionally put my shackles on when the camera comes out

The only thing I guess that really chaps my ass about a TJ mod is when someone puts a >3" body lift on a TJ and puts >33's on it. Either to pose or to hit a mudhole and SAY they've gone "offroad"
