Third brake light

Hey guys and girls. I know if anyone can answer this you folks can. I am in need of a high mounted third brake light to pass inspection in Virginia. Leds showing thru the spare won't cut it, I have that and no go. It has to be above the spare and I have a big issue there. My Rubi has 35's so it needs some reach. Mopar doesn't even make one for our TJ's any longer

You can make simple spacers for the factory 3rd brake mount with some PVC pipe and longer bolts.

I am sure glad that is not a thing in my state. That would drive me crazy, especially with the amount of vehicles I own. I don't like the fact that I have to take one of mine to the emissions check! Sorry you guys have to do that. What a pain in that ass!
 
I posted this in another thread, but in Texas they ask you to leave your insurance card on the dash when dropping off for inspection. A $20 or $50 clipped to the insurance card usually gets you a clean inspection if you know you are out of spec.
