Thoughts on Hutchinson DOT Legal Bead Lock Wheels?

It does seem like a lot but I was shocked when a buddy weighed his 40" tires and aluminum rims and they came in at like 145 lbs. Now my tires are listed as a 38x12.5 but measured out at about 37" tall.
15, I’d only go 17 if I was going larger than 35’s
I think there are reasons to run a 15" wheel over the 17" in some situations. I'm new to the 17" world as I've always run 15" other then the 16.5" and I only ended up with them because of the Hummer wheels. What I see is at least in tires I've looked at most tires for a 17" wheel are a load range D or E which on a lighter Jeep I'd want a load range C if at all possible. I know this subject had been discussed more than once on here.

Maybe I need to move up to 17". I need new tires so that's why I am considering BL wheels
When I ordered my trailready’s I ordered from wildhorses4x4 and got free shipping. Best deal I could find for them.
I debated it for a long time also. I went to the dual beadlock rims because on some trails I was burping the inner bead when on extreme sidehill. And this was on a 35" tire with between 6-9 PSI in the tires. I was looking at doing the Staun inserts but some members of my club had then and they were having issues with them.
So I'd found some Hummer rims that I could get for a good price. After many years dealing with the Hummer rim in the Army I was use to them and comfortable running them. I now have 17" Spyder Locks so am going to try out a single bead beadlock again.
I think the 15" Hutchinson wheels would be okay. Do any of these other wheels show a weight? I'd be curious to see what other beadlocks weigh in comparison to the Hutchinson wheels.
If I swapped to 17s I'd get the walker Evans but if I stick to 15s it will be trail ready beadlocks.
Is that a 15" wheel? So the Hutchinson is 36 lbs so only 5 lbs more than the TR. That would be a hard choice that is for sure.
Yes, it’s on the linked page above. Says plus/minus 1 lb depending on bolt pattern.

My 17” Method locks are 35 lbs each.
My 15” Aero locks are 23lbs each.

Well that is information that Plumber needs to make his decision I think. With them being so close to each other in weight I'd say that might tip the scale for him.
Funny thing from the BFG website a 35x12.50x15 KM3 weighs 66 lbs but a 35x12.50x17 weighs 74 lbs. so by going up to a 17" the tire gets heaver by 8 lbs. and would think that a 17" wheel would have to weigh more than a 15" as it has more metal in it.
How can this be when the OD of the tire remains the same but the hole in the middle gets larger you would think the tire would be lighter ( less rubber from bigger hole )

Difference of a c rated tire to a e rated tire. More belts, plys, heavier carcass.
I posted above, 35 pounds for my aluminum wheels compared to 23 pounds for my steel.
I didn't notice that part so that makes sense, but then I don't want a E rated tire, and yes I did see your post above
