Is the difference in clocking between and XJ and a TJ transfer case done at the transfer case or the transmission? I am looking for a rebuildable core to adapt to a 6L80 with a SYE and XJ transfer cases are much cheaper. I am guessing that going SYE and 6L80 adapter that replaces the Jeep input shaft makes it irrelevant where the transfer case comes from as far as internals and matching input/output shafts.
