I’m trying to replace my ignition actuator pin on my 2003 TJ I6 4.0L but can’t for the life of me seem to find any information on how to remove my lock cylinder. I know that for most Jeeps it seems to be super easy, just put your key in “run” position and press the little release button. Mine doesn’t have a release button in sight. I also can’t find anything like a set screw or any other logical way to release it. I’m hoping I don’t have to take apart my whole steering column to get to it because that seems intimidating.
There are a couple of hole-looking things, one on top and one on bottom of cylinder, but there is just solid metal behind those. No buttons. I really hope somebody can help with some info here.
