Dropped my oil pan to try to solve this knocking sound in my second hand engine. All the piston skirts are in tact and there is no serious play in the rod bearings. The one that I thought was the loosest I pulled the cap off and inspected and cleaned the bearing insert and then put some Red Line assembly lube on it and put it all back together. I put some Mopar 5w 20 in it because my 2.5 seemed to hate the rotella 15w40. I fired it up and no sounds on the first go. A lot better than before so hopefully it will last and keep running until I get my original engine rebuilt.

The PO only used it to get to the store in the snow. ;)
That’s as bad as the PO of mine ONLY used it to back his JetSki into the sea….. ☹️. Rusted the back wheels, brakes, tail pipe pretty sure it’s the whole trailer would’ve been submerged haha

Broke the fuel line from the fuel pump to the frame rail last weekend. I’m not sure if my bump stops are incorrect, or if, when I rotated my axle and put the angled track more bracket in it, contacted the fuel line.

I did see I put the bolt in backwards on the axle side track bar bracket. So instead of a 1/4“ of bolt head on the back side, I had an inch of bolt sticking out. Dumb mistake.
So, dropped the tank, and found out I ordered the wrong fuel line. Nuts.
Oh well. Needed to clearance the gas tank skid anyway.

While I wait for the fuel line I’ll do some testing to see what’s touching at full articulation.
And to low my GMRS radio comes in. Then Wednesday my Mastercraft Rubicon seats come in. A whole week of fun stuff to install!

Wired up a new switch for my fog lights. They have factory style switches with relay and pig tails for both ends on Amazon for $26. I could have wired it into the factory switch but I didn’t feel like tracking down the wires and I already had aftermarket wiring ran for the lights but my old switch shit the bed.
