What did you do to your TJ today?

Any pics of the broken motor mount? I thought the steel shell would keep even a broken mount from getting out of control like that, unless the shell broke too?
I still can't confirm or deny that it was a motor mount. My brothers JK is on the lift right now getting the brake caliper fixed. From looking at it from the ground (before the fender came off) it looks like there is about 3/8" between the rubber and the metal ring at the top on both mounts. I'll look tomorrow and get pictures of it before I install the new fender.

I'm hauling it in 2 weeks to Wheat's Off-Road to have them repair the frame, install a 1.25" body lift, 1" lift motor mounts, and new tires. I plan to have them keep the motor mounts so I can see them.

The airbag light is coming on and staying on so I have to start to figure out what is wrong with it.

Thanx for your kind words - yea, that's where I was going with this if nobody told me that I was an idiot for doing so. Frame and skid repaint is in progress. I'm thinking I'm going to just use some washers to keep the skid a BCH off the frame and let it breathe...

Oh,you will love the cable, when we drive on the beach it is sooo nice and smooth going into 4hi.

Agreed, the Savvy cable is probably a top 3 upgrade for any TJ owner.

Jeep accessories…My wife likes to needlepoint, will fit large bourbon nicely once I get it in an acrylic coaster.

... You must discretely modify the pattern and resubmit it to thy loving wife, so as to not offend the TJ gods with the likeness of a JK on said coaster!!

🤣

I'd go a step farther and have her leave the round turn signals on the grill under the headlights

Got the driver front fender on and installed, removed the Rock Hard slider, and removed/prepped the rear for the Metalcloak rear flare plate and flare. I would have gotten the rear done, but will need an extra set of hands to clamp the plate in place so I can mark/drill the holes.

I gained right at 4" of room above the tire with the MC fender vs the stock fender.

Got my driver side rear Metalcloak fender flare on. I gained right at 2-1/4" of clearance over the stock fender flare. I also popped in the 3/4" turn signal and marker light LED's into the front driver fender. Decided to skip buying these from MC. Got them from the same company I got the 3/4" round lights for my trailer. These were $20 for 10, MC wants $50 for 4. I'm going to wire both of these up to be turn signal and parking lights.

Where did you get your lights? I'm probably pulling the trigger on MC arched in 2025.
Are the lights multifunction?

Spent my afternoon fighting with a drivers side wiper that decided to start flopping and stopping all over.

This little nub with the splines where the arm actually slides on is the culprit, seems like however the little splined nub is attached let go, so it spins back and forth.

Does anyone know if I can buy just this piece? Or am I looking at a bigger replacement?

I looked at parts and only found the complete linkage available. If you can do it or have it done, a weld is probably the best solution to fix instead of replace.

What I did was drill and cross-pin when mine came loose like that. https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/what-did-you-do-to-your-tj-today.1784/post-1284542

Same lights I ran in mine. The MC lights are to pricey for what you get and you even have a few extra now.

I love your choice of frame coating to prevent rust. That stuff lasts much longer than Fluid Film. ;) (y)
