My wife and I have a few, her daily driver is a Jeep Compass. I enjoy working on older vehicles as a hobby. We just gave the 71 C20 to our son.

Thanks it’s a very simple mild combo that works, it’s got an aftermarket dart block stroked to a 331ci small heads and cam with 13lbs of boost from a baby vortech S trim supercharger with a TH400 tranny. Made around 580’s rwhp on a mustang dyno. Every component on this car was built to handle 900-1000hp. So I still got a lot more room for upgrades lol. My goal is to be in the 8 second range As a full weight street car.
Nice! That’s an expensive goal but I just love it! My dad was a drag racer and to this day still follows nhra like religion. I grew up watching it but never dove in. My off-road stuff was expensive enough!

I just up graded less then 2 weeks ago from my 2009 Polaris Rzr 800 to a 2020 Honda Talon 1000. I had a choice, so I got "Red".

1920 ish something. It could be mine. I would have to figure out how to drag it out over 50 miles of desert trails..

My daily driver is a 2002 Acura’s RSX and then my other toy is a 1971 Chevelle. The Chevelle was my first car, had it for 17 years now.
One of the main reasons I went with the Honda was because of the transmission plus the Honda reliability and engineering. I was tired of worrying about the belt breaking in it. I broke one and saw a guy in a brand new 4 seater Rzr break one. I'm not racing mine.
Have you gotten a chance to take the talon out for a spin yet? Nice my 1st car was a 72' chevelle SS 454 with a 4spd. i unfortunately totaled it in 2001 though, got t-boned by a drunk driver whom ran a light, 4mo after completing the restoration on it. mine was red w/ black stripes & black interior.
I'm bringing it out to the ranch next Friday, I'll let you know.
I have driven it up and down a dead end road. I really like how it has a positive shifting. You can feel it shift like an automatic transmission in a a car, but more positive. Or you can switch it over to manual shift and use the paddles on the steering wheel to shift when you want.
