Which floor mats would you recommend?

If you don’t like the trough design Lloyd mats makes a heavy rubber one that fits perfect and does not move at all on my bedrug carpet. The design also hold water really well. Also as you can see they have lots of color options. They are pricey tho.

Twenty years ago, I lost my factory passenger side matt — forgot it at a carwash 
A few days later, I found a rubber mud flap that fell off a semi, and it has worked well. Perfect fit, and very easy to pull out and hose down. It's a "Peterbilt" mud flap, though I would have preferred one with the mudflap girl silhouette of course

I am going to try the Armorlite floor liners, they are pricey, but supposed to be the best. I think @red02tj is running them.
Not me. About 4yrs into weathertec on Bedrug. They just came out with a new version of their liner mat which I put in my wife’s car, they are a nice improvement over their original design. Haven’t checked if they make for the TJ.
Yep I have Armorlite flooring. Wouldn’t have anything else. Planning on another Jeep purchase next year and it will get full Armorlite flooring immediately. Highly recommend.
The first thing I did when I got my TJ home after purchase was to throw out the Wearhertech floor mats the PO put in. I appreciate that their dish design retains dirt, mud, snow and water. What I don’t like is their texture. The hard plastic is too slippery for my liking, over time the edges curl and the rear cargo mat does not cover the area created when the seat is up. I prefer deep ribbed rubber mats for the front and just a plain rubber mat in the rear to prevent staining and cargo sliding around.
That is what I did as well. I use industrial velcro to make them not slide around. I like these type because my TJ mostly sees muddy trails. I like being able to hose them down easily.

You bet. I’m pretty sure you will love it. Very good quality and fits very well. I love the floor drains. Makes it so easy to clean.

$858 for floor mats??? They'd better be self-cleaning.

If you really want to reduce sound up through the floor, consider some sound deadening under that carpet. A layer of 80mil butyl and 1/8" closed cell foam weighs about 30lbs for the entire floor and rear wheel arches and will cut 3-4db from the interior. Just remember to leave cutouts for the drain plugs.
I went with some Lloyd carpet mats recently. Fit an finish is really good. Mud isn't much an issue where I am. More dust or snow. I've had a set of these in my old 911 for years and decided they'd be nice in the Jeep too.

I have Bestop all weather matts.. like WeatherTec mats. They work great.
However, the Armorlite liner is on my short list
