I remember those old Bestop, CJ looking flares.

I love my MC's personally have have had zero issues with them.

Agreed, mine with highlines and 35s is just on the lower edge of what I'd accept. 37s on an LJ is an eventuality I think.
I actually don't think mines changed much, 35s on a TJ and 37s on an LJ have always seemed to match the body sizes to me!It is amazing how our brains get warped looking at jeeps with bigger tires (and having one ourselves). The next size up always looks more attractive![]()
didn't it kinda start subjective? .................... i read it as i don't really need these for this build but i want them cause i think they are cool ....so i kicked the can.but the discussions always turns subjective.
Too bad the axles don't match the aesthetics of 37s.I actually don't think mines changed much, 35s on a TJ and 37s on an LJ have always seemed to match the body sizes to me!
Really the OP asked for pictures of the setup so they could make their subjective opinion on them for some unstated reason. But yeah, ask for pics you're gonna get other's opinions on the setup regardless.didn't it kinda start subjective? .................... i read it as i don't really need these for this build but i want them cause i think they are cool ....so i kicked the can.
it's 100% subjective......they are trying to decide if they are cool enough to lay down 800$ for.
It's the exact opposite when looking at women. It is amazing how our brains get warped looking at jeeps with bigger tires. The next size up always looks more attractive![]()
LOL even this statement is subjective. More important to you is not necessarily more important to others. The bigger and more important issue with MC in general has always been philosophical in regards to how they operate their business

Too bad axles capable of running 37's are built to run 40'sToo bad the axles don't match the aesthetics of 37s.![]()

Looks aren't everything...In the area of function compromises are being made.My ‘97 TJ has Overlines, 33x12.5” tires, 1.25” Savvy body lift and NO suspension lift. The 33” tires look perfect…
With 4” of suspension lift they would definitely look small…
MeanieMetal cloak fenders are ugly.
It really isn't. Over and over again it has been shown that Metalcloak greatly exaggerates and highly mischaracterizes their claims. The more one understands this, the uglier their products become.LOL even this statement is subjective. More important to you is not necessarily more important to others.
I knew some girls like this in high school. They seemed cool and pretty, until you talked to them and heard all the "likes" and unintelligible garble. Yadda yadda, they became less attractive too.It really isn't. Over and over again it has been shown that Metalcloak greatly exaggerates and highly mischaracterizes their claims.
