We are going to do Gemini bridges/metal masher tomorrow since Moab rim and whatever else is still a bit out of my league. Gemini Bridges trailhead at 8am as is tradition if anyone wants to join!

Metal masher is so fun, one of my favorite trails. If you enjoy metal masher make sure to add steel bender to your list, poison spider as well. Those are on the top of my list of favorite trails that I've done.
Also don't discount going to fins and things. It really hammers moab grip into your head with the crazy climbs and decents.

To each there own. I had fun watching @Apparition attempt some, all, the optional bits. I'm fairly certain I'm not getting my trails mixed up but I was high on life last year so it's all one big red rock blur of fun.All on the schedule! Except steel bender I think. I've heard it's kinda boring
I would have joined you all but have a MTB commitment with my son who flew into town today. Post up some pics when your done.
Yeah I'm sure it would be fun everything out here is pretty great - the trails and the views from them. I don't think I'd be opposed to it if I didn't already have a full schedule lol
I tried everything I could. I like the trail, scenic with some obstacles.
I've been to moab twice now and still haven't hit all the trails I want to go on lol. Have fun out there today!!!

We went up to Dead Horse State Park and rode 10-11 miles of trails.
Was it fun? I always see a lot of people on bikes, I've never seen them smiling
Kinda a joke lol. I want to try MTB but I'm a lazy ass so I want to do it at a ski resort over the summer so it's all downhill
Ya today was fun with the variety of rock and dirt.
If I was like 30years younger I would do one of those ski resort down trails with jumps and just rent a bike built for bombing the hills.
Am sorry we aren't there. Last fall saw another boss leave which left me scrambling again to run the department I work in. It looked like stuff was getting booked solid in Moab, so I didn't work real hard trying to find a place to stay. My wife lost her middle sister and her mother (cancer for both) in the last 2 months. So, we would not have been able to go anyway. We both really want to go back to Moab! But will have to live vicariously through everyone's pics and write-ups. Hopefully, we will see Moab again in 2023.

I have no clue why I just randomly remember I screwed this up but wanted to fix the record.
I could be confusing things again but I don't believe I got the pleasure of wheeling with @Apparition last year but did get to see his photos with team america.
I didn’t remember meeting you specifically either. But when I did Steel Bender I was doing one of the obstacles in front of someone we met on the trail and they were impressed so I thought maybe it was you. I can’t remember names.
Either way I need to run both metal masher and steel bender again to determine which one I like best.
If anyone is interested in having a fire at our cabin or another cookout, let us know. We don’t mind if you want to use the fire pit if we are here or not either.
