Some of those highways feel like you're offroad out there too.Driving on the big hwys where he lives is autocross by default
ROTM photo opportunity right there! We entertained the idea of taking it to a track out here with a lot of elevation changes. Unfortunately, vehicles with increased ride height are not allowed on the track. It's a shame, because I think me following a pack of Miatas would be a whole bunch of fun!
it's like reverse Frogger. Are you suggesting I might catch up to them?
The better skill is knowing when something isn't fixable and tossing it.I've always heard you can't fix stupid... But Blaine is just great a fixing all sorts of stuff.
If you pass you need to go all Valentino Rossi and flip them offAre you suggesting I might catch up to them?
See if you can find an SCCA "run watcha brung" event. They can be a lot of fun. You won't be running wheel to wheel with others (one car on the track at a time) but they are typically more lenient on allowed modifications. They used to let a bunch of hack engineering students run in their events....In a car that was 100% student built. Think Go cart on steroids...with a 110 hp CBR600R engine! This one was a lot of fun...I worked on it quite a bit.We entertained the idea of taking it to a track out here with a lot of elevation changes. Nicky Hayden says no.
I think some people may be taking @jjvw analogy too literally. Making an argument out of nothing. He is trying to highlight the benefit of a well set up system of components that can create a well handling tj/lj.
With that said it would be cool to see @jjvw post a video of his tj at the track or an autocross event here soon.
Or Mario cart
Sadly he's not saying anything anymore. And because of something that happened while riding a bicycle of all things.Nicky Hayden says no.
Those who were confused about what was being described have been duly noted. All two of you.My bad, I thought he was being serious. I wasn't trying to stir up shit. Just being too literal again.
I once had a 78 mgb w/ 230k on it. My TJ handles better than that thing did
I knew Nicky, Tommy, Roger Lee, and their dad Earl from my days in AMA Superbike back when they transitioned from dirt to pavement. Earl just passed from a long battle with Cancer. Those boys were the most polite, well-behaved kids in the paddock, but when it came time to compete, they were all business. Earl did a great job raising good men who can ride the wheels off anything. To say that Nicky's untimely passing was a gut punch would be a massive understatement. RIP, Nicky!Sadly he's not saying anything anymore. And because of something that happened while riding a bicycle of all things.
All good. I mean his post was pretty messed up.My bad, I thought he was being serious. I wasn't trying to stir up shit. Just being too literal again.

Do you not believe me when I say my tj can run circles around any jeep or car out there? M3's, Mclaren's, Miatas, I can beat them all, around any track. Everyone else's stuff is straight trash.
Quit bragging about your stupid expensive toys. You're POS Jeep isn't as fast as my helicopter jet car.
My RC car is faster than your jeep. COME AT ME BROQuit bragging about your stupid expensive toys.
