The 32rh is really hard to find and the AW4 from the Cherokee seems to be a dime a dozen, is it worth considering that instead?

I recall mrblaine stating the OD ratios are a problem in addition to pain in the ass wiring and it generates a ton of heat. It's doable though...

PITA wiring I can deal with probably, what is the problem with the OD? I'd be regearing after replacing transmissions so can that compensate you think?

It's just looking like a 32rh is gonna be 1000$+ by itself, the chances of getting a good deal seems low low with all the other people trying to do the same thing

Did you plug in the numbers to grimm jeeper with the gearing you want? Just a quick comparison on 4.10s. Left is the 32RH.

I hadn't gotten that far yet, was kinda wondering why I hadn't read much about it on here. I see that the OD is crazy low in the AW4, are you unable to switch it off like in the 42RE? Because otherwise they seem similarly geared.

The AW4 is also longer than the 32rh which kinda sucks considering our driveshaft lengths are already pushing the limits of being too short
Yeah that is true that is not ideal

I'm trying to find what the issue was, I think it was too low and caused issues with the torque converter, but it's been a minute since I researched it

It doesn't work well in the TJ as it in does in the XJ. It also runs too hot and is inefficient.
