GATORB8 LJ Build

Picked up sliders and corners and did a little organization before getting to work this morning. Brought home a tire from the shop to help with planning cutting, little bigger than 33” lol.

Had to order the full 09 kit from Barnes to get the other knuckle setup, and it's on back order, so pause on front axle for a week or two. The hubs I missed on my rockauto list for the rear showed today, so I'll be transitioning to the rear axle again.

No update from Thret on the custom cut wheels, so I'm pivoting to Raceline Ryno's now that they're available in cast/machined. -38s so a little worried about brake show with the spacers on the 14 bolt, but not the end of the world. The shipment is supposed to be in end of the month, so cutting it super close for EJS.

Any excuse to buy new tools is always a good thing.

I knew it! Get that shit covered to hit the trail. Axle looks great. I’m painting in 25* weather with a heat gun blowing at it. LOL

Stop whining....

I've only got 18 days before I'm leaving.

I'm at the sister's and BIL's until Tuesday.... Got a appointment with the UofWA Tuesday morning.
Then home and start wrenching like crazy to have the Jeep ready...
And the motorhome too...
Leaving 28 February.....

Maybe I missed it, running coils and shocks? How far are you stretching the rear? Looking good so far

Yep. More time crunch than anything. MC Dual Rate 3.5/5.5 (the truss moves the front coil buckets up 2"). 5125s, 12" up front 14" in back. ~6" Stretch rear, may try to get a little towards the front.
