During that time I've mostly gutted the garage, eliminating both my old toolboxes and a large shelf full of junk. While I'm not quite done, the transformation is getting closer to what I've wanted, with an emphasis on de-cluttering and have workbench space. Both the new toolbox and desktop can be elevated to match standing or sitting.

My next task is to clean up the storage behind the Jeep, then move the hardtop storage from above the desk to above the rear of the Jeep. That will require second set of hands though. FWIW, pictures don't do this setup justice. The back wall run, where the toolbox sits, is 16 feet long and the side wall, where the desk sits, is 14 feet long.

Didn't spend as much as you might think. Only reason I committed in bulk was a 45% discount. That made the decision easier, since I was going to do it anyway!

I don't always keep up with mine (get organized and then add more crap) — but I have serious respect of a good organization system!

I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one to struggle for a good spot for the (useful but hard to store) M12 grease gun.

It's amazing how spoiled you can get with technology. I've been without my backup camera since installing the @Fluxor hinges. Today I took a little time to use the garage and made a camera bracket out or 1/8" x 1" flat-bar. The camera is back in place and everything is as it should be.

Unfortunately, yes. However, it's one bolt and the bolt head is 19mm, just like the lugnuts. I tested it today and it takes me less than 60 seconds to remove.

I still like the idea. That is really easy to pull off and gets the camera where it's needed and out of the way of harm when mounting the spare - which was a concern I had as I thought of designs.

Just to add an idea - you could use a winged-bolt with a lock nut to make it 'finger removable' - but that could freeze up over time too and still require pliers to break loose - removing the benefit. Just brainstorming out load... Not that you're design is bad, just thinking.

Consider cameras at either end of the front bumper facing just in front of the front tires. Great for picking a line. I did that using a camera input switcher.

Dedicated:

- 50 amp 220v welder plug
- 20 amp 120v welder plug
- 20 amp circuit above the toolbox workspace, with USB A and C
- 15 amp circuit for the TV and two garage fans.
- Wifi control of all plugs

I'm effectively done with the garage organize/modernize work. Things are put away, labeled, workspace maximized, and technology is now integrated into the garage. While I currently have a garage heater, there is no A/C.

Next on my list is a mini split system, then a garage lift. The limitation on any lift install is the fact that my maximum ceiling height is 11 feet. I'm still thinking over the options, so if anyone has suggestions, please let me know what to look for and/or be concerned about!
