How much were the doors if you don't mind me asking?Well, This past weekend I obtained 2(two) 2006 JeepTJ full doors for my next upgrade, winter time use only of course.
Drove from SC to Pittsburgh for these doors.
What I do for my baby!

No, they're tweed. Looks & feels like a heavyweight canvas. It's gotta be super durable. Time will tell. They look great. They are no neoprene right?

I looked out my window and realized my Jeep won't be coming out of storage anytime soon....
And snapped a few pics heading into work this morning (Stopped and going about 5mph). I hate winter.

Like the anti-chafe, I'll add some of that to mine!Received my flow-matched upgraded injectors from Injector-Rehab

so then cleaned out the injector bores in the manifold and installed all new plugs

Moved the ground strap from the middle of the head to the back and put a super high-tech anti-chafe device on the rear head stud (piece of hose). Thanks @Jerry Bransford for the heads-up on that one!

Also reinstalled the rear diff cover, put a new bolt in the driver's seat where the one was missing, replaced about two feet of brittle and cracking plastic vacuum line and (as mentioned earlier today) ordered some Currie lower arms. Four more days to get everything done!!

Like some kind of race approved full cage?I really want to put a roll cage in mine, the windshield supports are incredibly flimsy, I am surprised they came out that way from the factory.
Like some kind of race approved full cage?
Or one of those show cages using the OEM cage & adding additional sections.
Yea, I imagine I'll be doing something similar too.By your definition I guess it would be a show cage. There is a poison spyder roll cage just a few blocks from me for $900, but I just cant swing that right now. Anything would help and be better than the plastic bar between the A and B pillars.
So now to vent a little bit,
When I bought my jeep I had it inspected by a jeep dealership, as I was going to have it shipped. All they were able to find was dry rotted control arm bushings and a leaking rear differential.
I have found a bad passenger hub, the control arm bushings were fine. There was only 1 bolt holding on the hard top. Along with a bunch of misc issues.
There is even a tic in the engine I am trying to track down
If the dealership can't find this stuff, who can you trust
