I think that would be the minimum for 35’s as far as the axle assemblies even more so because you’re locked IMHO. Same with the gear ratio not knowing what tranny you run and what kind of wheeling you plan to do. Stock fenders will see more abuse than you see with 33’s unless you bump it more. Your wheel backspace and tire width will be important, mine rub the Front LCA’s at full lock and full stuff. Happy landing!

Ah 5 speed but gonna run 5.13s I want a lil deeper gear. Doing a 1.25 body lift as well

@mtngoattj. Congrats on the jump. I can’t see your whole setup so I can’t make a lot of suggestions, where are your brakes though?

I am going to up grade the fronts and do the rear disc swap for convenience right now they are stock with up graded pads

That’s right I think I remember a post from you about hitting the big ones.

Yes sir I have been pondering 35s for awhile now and just decided it’s time don’t get me wrong the Jeep does fantastic with its current set up on 33s but it’s time to stop beating the hell out of the bottom of it get some more clearance

A full skid tuck (tcase & fuel tank) will be of great benefit in the clearance dept.

You might also look at the GenRight cage as an alternative to the PS cage. I have no idea which one is actually better, but the Genright has more options.

I run the Rock Hard 4x4 tire carrier, which is a good unit. But if you're mainly wheeling it may not be the best as it is one of the heaviest. If you want indestructible and don't care about weight then I recommend it.

What size rim are you planning on? What width of tire? Backspacing?

I recommend a big brake kit if you can afford it. A 15"/16" kit should be fine. A Super 16" or 17" kit would be overkill, but will still work great.

I believe the 35 is a lot of tire to hang off the back. Have you considered putting it in the tub with you?

This only works for people that are out for a day adventure with two people max unfortunately. You barely have room for toilet paper with a 35 in the tub ☹
It depends on how its mounted. This makes room for toilet paper and a 42inch tire. 49512CFF-6D30-484D-AB99-A676ECD0697A.jpeg0ADBEC5C-5148-4B26-9E9D-EB37B763E280.jpegEA6D366A-465A-4728-8FF9-AB6ABF1800CF.jpegB87A3338-3D9D-46EE-9DB3-81D2F6E02C11.jpeg

What super 35 kit did you go with? That’s my plan to do if I can’t find a Dana 44 when I’m ready. Thanks

Revolution gears and axles and arb only prob I ever had was driver error

We seem to do some of the same Trails, I do Sour Grass, Deer Valley and Slick Rock a few times a year. I have done the Rubicon a few times, drove all the way to do the Dusy and found my jeep and a issues and had to haul it all the way back to the Bay.

Now I do like having 35's or the 33's I had on my YJ
