Different Spare Tire Mount?

See how the top of my spare tire leans away from the Jeep? If anything, I'd like it to lean in a little at the top. (And I don't think anything is bent; I looked at it very closely.)

Any ideas for a different spare tire mount that isn't too pricey? I'm sure this one is the stock mount that came on the Jeep.

A single washer stack under the bottom mounting bolts of your factory tire carrier may be enough to change that angle.

Something is probably bent. Or maybe you're missing the bottom snubber. Somebody did something because you're also missing the third brake light.

Does the spare match the rest? Maybe the snubbers were adjusted for a larger spare at one time.
Hence the missing 3rd brake light.

That would definitely be an inexpensive fix. The spare does not touch any of the snubbers, so I've got to alter those, somehow, anyway.

Might want to make that a priority. A vibrating spare can wear out the tailgate hinges.

I have one of those heavy duty tire holders I could let go of really cheap. It just replaces the factory one with thicker metal. PM me if you are interested?

Right, the rugged ridge bracket pushes the tire pretty far out from the tailgate, had to extend the snubbers over an inch when I ran it. I swapped it out for a Bestop kit.
