Brothers for Veterans LJ Build

Suspension..... I have talked to many vendors and most haven’t returned my calls or emails. Anyone know of a good vendor that would be interested in contributing to the project? Looking to go no more than 4”. Ideally keep it at 2.5-3”. Thanks all for the support! This is the last piece to nail down!

I really like that color also. Makes me want to think about repainting my TJ. But it's been white for so long I don't know what I would do if it changed colors. Plus the cost of having it painted I'd rather spend on parts but DAMN it is a great lookin color.

I would suggest contacting Dirk at DPG Offroad, they deal in Old Man Emu, are devout Christians and all around good people. I bought their ultimate kit 15 years ago and have been very happy with it.

There is some Savvy pull here, I would also reach out to BDS, Currie, and Zone Offroad. The worst they can say is “no.”

I agree with reaching out to DPG for some OME stuff.

How are you explaining this build to them? Gow are you selling it? Are you offering advertising space on the Jeep for those that donate parts?

Some folks travel to Jeep shows and will have a big poster on a stand that tells the story behind the build and thanks the sponsors who contributed. Just sayin.

Dont take no for an answer and remember the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

I hear you there. My JKUR is white and would love it a different color but it is expensive! Our local dealership, Sternbergs Chrysler, donated the paint job. Awesome supporters!

Thanks for the info! Our faith is what drives our mission daily. Knowing that God is on our side and gives us strength is our basis for all we do.

I couldn’t agree more on the squeaky wheel. I have laid out the mission of the build and all sponsors will have their logo displayed on the Jeep. We will also be using the Jeep in club rides, taking to events, and using to promote our Non-Profit. We sell hats and T-shirt’s where 100% of the profit goes directly to Veterans.

One thing we really push is we don’t have anyone on our payroll. 100% of what we raise goes directly to getting Veterans and Active Duty Military in the outdoors.

Projects like this are funded solely by myself and my brothers and help from awesome sponsors so no funds raised go in our equipment, Jeep, fishing boat, tree stands, etc.

here is a list of current sponsors: Yukon gear and axle, Sternbergs Chrysler, Jasper Engines and Transmissions, Wehr Performance, Bestop, Warn, Daystar, MCE fenders, Grote Lighting, Raybestos, Meyer Distributing, Meyer Truck Equipment.

Fuel tank is installed thanks to the help from my awesome wife helping me turn wrenches. Took her for her maiden voyage today. Now time to rip out the axles!

Knocking out some small upgrades right now and planning to take the Jeep out this weekend to get some good baseline data at our local SRA park, Interlake. Here’s a picture of the new wheels provided by our local Dubois County Tire!

I see you know Jesse W and Nick. I knew they was a part of an LJ project going on and it's cool to see you posting it here. Looks awesome! I'm at Interlake frequently, and if you ever need any help - feel free to reach out! Wheeling events, guide, working on it, hunting etc... I'm just across the river in So. Illinois.

Yes, great guys! They both have LJ’s as well. Nick just built an amazing rig on one tons that has been all over social media here of late that is sting grey. Picture below. Jesse has one of the most capable TJ’s I’ve seen on the trails and recently got an LJ. Picture of his rig as well. Jesse has been working with me on the project from the beginning. Couldn’t find a better guy! We all live in Jasper, went to school with them.
We will be at Interlake this Saturday 8-12 if you want to join!

Oh yes, I give nick hell frequently about selling it to me lol. So you’re heading out with the EAJ crew tomorrow or something else?

I live on the other side of MTC. Jesse rebuilt my front axle for me when I bought my TJR last spring. I’ve wheeled with him more than nick, but it’s always a good time when we go.
