What did you do to your TJ today?

Ok I see what you’re saying now. I don’t use it to finish the windows, they just happen to get 303 on them when I’m spraying down the skin before scrubbing it. Doesn’t harm them.

After I rinse and dry everything off I use Invisible Glass on all of the windows. I usually spray it on a microfiber cloth, rub the windows really good and wet, then dry them off with another microfiber. Works great for glass and plastic both.

I just cleaned it today.

Thanks for the info.

WHY? WHY? WHY?
(Not trying to be political, just feeling kinda Bidenish)

Seriously though, it looks good and I'm not complaining because I've thought about removing mine so here's my real questions.

Why did you remove it, are you replacing it with something else?

Why do I think I still see some tire tread up higher?

And my last "why" is really What is that black on the front edge of the hood?

Shame on you being

Joe Bidenish. I removed most of the tire tread to see if the paint was faded too. It took the eyes off a hood dent and now I'm removing the rest of the decal. That up front is a bug deflector way too late for my TX bug dried guts paint problems. It covers up front and doesn't stick up like most.

Got my Jeep back on the road after a gear ratio change from 3.73 to 4.56, Aussie locker up front and an Eaton e locker in a Dana super 35. New upgraded axle shafts in both differentials , zj rear disk brake conversion.
What a difference in the way it drives now with the 4.56 gears.

This forum has helped me out with most of the build.
I tackled the gear change myself.
So far I haven't heard any noises or felt any vibrations.
Just going to take it easy for awhile so the gears will break in correctly.

The next thing will be a sye just to get rid of the transfer case drop, when my funds build back up. Maybe after Christmas.

Thanks for the help.

This forum lets you use profanity and then deletes political post comments that don't meet the "higher ups" Dem agenda? WTF? Does CNN control this place too? Later. nice people. It's a shame. I thought Facebook and Twitter were the only politically asshole driven sites. I don't use those either.
Off the top of my head? Time and place! This is where we are supposed to see awesome mods an mad modding skilz. The political stuff should hangout in the "Politics" thread. Here we are not divided in this thread, and come together as a whole to promote our legendary Jeep mods!

Politics is supposed to stay in the politics forum where it’s pretty much anything goes.

Did this guy just rage-quit the because he wasn't allowed a soapbox for politics on a Jeep forum? I must have missed the deleted post.

Back on track.
I ordered RS5000X shocks for the rear. I did the front a while back and it was a huge improvement, but a TJ is so short that even from the driver seat your essentially sitting over the rear wheels. I could feel a softer initial impact on the front, followed by a harsh bounce on the rear when going over speedbumps, potholes, rough roads, etc. I was going to wait until I did the rear trac bar and control arms, but waiting no longer.

Mine's a super typical setup: Currie 4" springs, Savvy control arms, currie track bar, JKS disconnects, RS500X shocks. Just need to finish the rear one day... Maybe not custom or some craziness, but it is definitely quality stuff. I only want to do it once.

After this mod, I'll be done...I swear

You sir, are a LYING DOG FACE PONY SOLDIER!! it is never done, NEVA!!
haha you got me....but actually for awhile i was done. When I originally wrote that, I was actually done! And now I still don't spend much on mods (haven't bought anything since last year), but I got bored and I decided every fall I'd choose a part I would upgrade. Chromoly shafts this year. But i'm tempted to also pick up a new front driveshaft (don't really "need" it yet) and maybe a new aluminum front bumper (don't really "need" it). Not good to get bored lol

Put air in the tires! LOL For the last couple days when I go to leave work I look at my rear tire and I say to myself, "self, that looks kind of low, I'll check it when I get home". Get home and immediately go in the house and forget about it, till the next morning when I'm leaving work. LOL Today I finally remembered. LOL The rears and about 12psi and the fronts and about 22. I bet tomorrows ride to work will feel a bit better. LOL I put them up to 28.

Oh, I also did a before and after pic on my headlights. The left is before with JK lights and the right is the LED. I still need to adjust them a little.
