Sounds like a lot of work, and monies.
Both my front fenders are shit right now. And we're short like your wife, so going with Currie 4" coils is just going to make it harder to get in the Heep.

I'm still thinking out loud about fenders. What's the point of going with a GR Aluminum that's not HiLine? I mean, it's $1300. Besides the work involved, why not just go with the HiLine? If I do HiLine, I can run 35's, but what else would I have to change. Am I going to want more uptravel? longer shocks? Modify the upper spring perches?
Maybe not right away but you'll eventually want to move shock mounts to gain all the travel you can.

oh yeah, I'd probably need PSC steering too. This is just a hole. My mind is back to 33's
Forgot bigger brakes and gearing. Do you already have lockers front and rear? Are you upgraded with the Currie steering?

Not trying to pile it all on, but I would argue that a rig on 35's, when well thought out, will have support for the bigger tires...

Did you frown your fenders? They look ok from a distance. I folded the low spots on the mine cause they were rubbing.

To get the most out them at the very least you'll be adding longer shocks and new towers but I believe @mrblaine typically adds coils overs.

I run the BMB pads up front and will put them in the rear disks when the time comes.

Yes, I have lockers front and rear

I have the ZJ tie rod conversion.

My gearing can go either way. I'm at 456 and the numbers say 434 for 33's and 471 for 35's. Most would argue for 488's for 35's with my engine and tranny, and I wouldn't argue back, but 456 turn them pretty well.

Agreed. One of the few things I'd add between 33s and 35s is a psc. With the stock box the 35s really weren't fun to turn in the rocks.

Yeah, sounds like another rabbit hole. I just keep going back and forth, but y'all keep my sanity by pointing out I might need x, y, z, oh, and zz, zzz, zzzzz. The thing is I'm in the tire market still, so that's why I'm back and forth. I hate to drop $1K on tires and then be selling them on CL six months later.

The passenger I careened into a tree and completely folded it down. I spent an hour working with it and it looks decent. The driver bumpstops must be 1/4" too short because the tire hit the seam and morphed it away from the flare slightly. It's not bad, but I don't like crap like that.

Too bad you aren’t closer. I’m going to sell my tires wheels. I’d give you a steal of a deal.

The nice thing about going with highlines though would be you could do the supporting mods over time and "grow" into them.

Not meaning to start a debate or a flame fest but.... 6pak shocks would likely work also.... they certainly don't get much love around here but @DrDmoney has them and they work great for him.

You'll have to compare the expenses, but you could always find some decent factory fenders and have them painted to match. Might be the cheaper route.

You could still do it over time, splitting the cost over a few months and not really compromise strength in parts by staying on 33's.

Do you really need 35's? Are the trails kicking your ass and it's your rig that lacks in capes/tire size?

Oh and...might need those front axle shafts replaced to support the 35's..

I tend to think I have all the supporting mods for 35's besides shock relocations, an extra inch of lift, and gearing (I run 4.56). Not trying to pile on as well, but I don't really like my Jeep in its current setup but just haven't gotten around to fixing it.

I really need the extra inch of lift (maybe you could do it with highlines) and 5.13's. The Jeep isn't all that fun to drive to me personally, at least not as fun as it was with 33's. So much so I'm considering going backs to 33's when I replace my treps since it will be a little before I get the Jeep where I want it.

Yeah, I can get a factory passenger fender and paint it for around $150 all in.

I have chromoly shafts in my front Dana 30, so all good there. Rear Dana 44 is stock shafts with stock backups for the trail. I'd want to upgrade to chromoly's if I went to 35's though.

IDK if I really need 35's. In ID wheelin there's one trail I could use them on for sure. The rest has been fine with 33's, so I'm more tempted to stay put and just enjoy the great setup I already have.

That's awesome of you. I will be there next October, but flying in and out.
