Yuoo care to share a link that leads to that calculator?
GrassyAss (Thanks)
I’ll try TriageI
That calculator is for a parallel 4 link.
Zipties are severely under rated. The new "get home item"Meh, zipties are all you really need. If you don't believe me it's only $0.24. Try it and don't be a hater.
You're going to need a school bus!Ooops, need to take my phone out of my pocket.
@jjvw given the 2 choices other than stock what numbers would you prefer?I have mine....

It is due to "capitalism". Your closed mind has shielded truth from you. Haha! How many outboards have you done? The caliper flip does nothing but make an outboard easier and package better. One outboard is enough to figure this out. Yet Dave has gone out of his way to not do this for reasons I cannot understand. Combined with everything else I pointed out, it is clear that there is an agenda.

I do know the answer though. It took a while but the formula is solid. When I did my outboard, I expected to see tons of TJ's with outboards. Fact is less than 1% are outboarded. So, I believe (my truth) is that Mr. Kishpaugh decided that he would have more sucess targeting 99% of TJ's over 1%. I get those are hard numbers and near impossible to grasp but truth will out.
Ya, I knew you would say that. Carry on. We are two very different People". Carry on.You wrote a bunch of stuff that has nothing to do with what I wrote.
I may be wrong, but I believe there's past context not included in the comment you were quoting. I think it was more "of all the outboards he does - Dave has avoided the caliper flip". But I don't know all the history, it's just something I vaguely remember seeing before. It is due to "capitalism". Your closed mind has shielded truth from you. Haha!

Oh, I"m sure there's more to come.PHEW! I'm up to speed now.
I've learned a lot in this thread.
Woah, easy there tiger. Are you trying to bring rationality into this discussion? Yeah, we don't do that here.I may be wrong, but I believe there's past context not included in the comment you were quoting. Because that’s the way he likes to do them. He does a lot of them. If it was easier for him to do it another way don’t you think he would? Why is this some how getting spun into this guy vs that guy? Unless that is the whole reason for the animosity toward the brackets.I may be wrong, but I believe there's past context not included in the comment you were quoting. You are not wrong in your thought process. There have been tons of debate on if under or over 100% is better but it is generally accepted that keeping near 100% makes for a good all around setup. To me, except for the stock setup all of those anti-squat numbers are high (the first is crazy high), and as I understand it would absolutely result in hopping on a climb - but please correct me if I am wrong. I've always targeted anti-squat at a little under 100%. Since a likely incorrectly estimated CG can change the numbers, to me staying a bit under gives a little margin for error in that respect. That being said, I've always looked at the calculators as a guide - the proof of the pudding is in the eating.
Anyone happen to have numbers on the mid-arm?
