Yours is so pristine!Every time I do a Jeep, they look like this. I even clean and re-paint, when needed, after wheeling. I don't know any other way!
I called them. The outgoing message said to text them at the same number, so I did. Also emailed. Still nothing.I emailed them the other day and they replied the same day.
Guess it's hit or miss with them.I called them. The outgoing message said to text them at the same number, so I did. Also emailed. Still nothing.
I'd have to do that every month when I wheel it. I'll look at your pictures instead. LOL.
How do you like that UCF rear bumper? Thinking about picking one up for my TJ to ditch the stock bumper and trailer hitch combo that bottom out on rocks all the time.
I've had the now discontinued tire carrier version on my LJ for 7+ years and have zero complaints. I wouldn't mind if the bumper tucked in a little tighter to the frame, but the strength, weight, function and style are exactly what I like. How do you like that UCF rear bumper? Looks well built. The combo of steel frame and aluminum skin seems like a solid design - I'd like to be able to pull a small trailer with my atv, but also keep weight down. And as far as departure angle, more is better, but I'm not ready to go to a cross member cap.I've had the now discontinued tire carrier version on my LJ for 7+ years and have zero complaints. Here are a few pics of the version installed on my TJ.

The bumper would be a very good choice, if you need to pull a small trailer. I have a 5x10 trailer I used to pull frequently with mine. As for the paint, I've had really good luck with paint on aluminum. The trick is to clean it thoroughly, scuff with a scotch brite pad, apply self etching primer, then apply the paint. I've had no peeling or flaking of paint in 7+ years on the rear bumper on my LJ.Looks well built. Were you able to get spray paint to stick, or did you have it powder coated?
Good feeling when you can do it yourself and save money for other stuff!Finished the RMS install! Not the biggest fan of it but I saved money so that's cool. Found out my leak is coming out of the valve cover gasket too so guess that's up next!
Does that bumper have attachment points for safety chains? Cops around here are sticklers. The bumper would be a very good choice, if you need to pull a small trailer.
