I have a 99 tj 3 speed auto on 35's with 3.73 gears. Drove it this way for a while no issues. Installed a supercharger and now it overheats going up hill. I played around with it making sure it didn't need burped. Then took it for another drive. Overheated uphill again. While I was halfway up the hill I pulled over to let it cool off. When I went to leave again it had no power and would not move. I put it in 4x4 and it took off no problem and did not start over heating again. Is this possibly a sign the trans is overheating causing the issue? Going in for gears next week FINALLY! Thanks for any insight.
