We took a whale watching cat trip along there last year. Beautiful stretch of coastline for sure. Enjoy!
Absolutely, we did the zodiac boat trip to see that stretch, beautiful!
I put the trail doors on and adjusted them. They seem to fit fine. Driver door rattles on the latch. I can’t remember the fix for that, so I’m going to search and try to fix that. The black sucks, but the good news is I still have plenty of the color match paint I used for the corner and tailgate armor, so I just need some 2K clear. It’s amazing how much lower the top of the door is. I’ve got ideas from office chair armrests and wheelchair armrests to make a nice pad for the armrest. Looks really easy once I weld a top edge on these.

We generally get so few great summers in the UK it doesn't seem worth having trail doors, but your TJ looks so good with them on I am tempted.
Unless the Genright pad I think you mentioned covers it, fill it all in with weld and grind it down smooth. What would you do about these gaps between the armrest and the frame of the door skin? It takes awhile to fill it all with weld and grind it down smooth.
Sounds like a great project for the boysWhat would you do about these gaps between the armrest and the frame of the door skin? It takes awhile to fill it all with weld and grind it down smooth.
What about JB Weld? Easier than welding it all and easier to file smooth and flat.
