Hello all,

I’m new to the forum here. I’ve owned a few TJ’s in the past, but I’m by no means an expert. I’ve been a long-time lurker and figured it was time to jump in and start a build thread.

I currently have a 392 JL (pic below) and recently picked up this ’05 LJR for $12K here in Texas. I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone and learning from the experts on here.

Not sure how fast this build will move—I’m currently in between houses with a smaller garage and way too many vehicles (LOL).

I’ve been trying to get in touch with Savvy to purchase a mid-arm kit, but haven’t had any luck so far. Does anyone have advice on the best way to reach them or availability?

Thanks in advance, Jeremy

Welcome and nice snag on the LJR.

Good luck on Savvy. They were at EJS with RK so that may be impacting, but I canceled the only order I've ever put in after a few weeks.

How big you going on this one?

Gerald's always responded to me pretty quickly via email. [email protected]. There's really 2 separate companies now, Gerald is running the OG TJ stuff and another group is running everything else, so if you're just using the general contact on the website it might not be getting to the right place.

Thank you GATORB8, that's a good question and one I hope to have that answer soon. LOL I cant decide between tons & 40's or just build the factory axles and stay on 35-37's. decisions decisions...

Thank you very much, I will shoot him an email and see what happens.

Nice purchase by the way. See quite a few spendy upgrades on it just by the one photo.

Yes it does already have some tasteful mods. It has been sitting and not driven very much in the past 5 years. The lady's husband passed away and she couldn't bring herself to sale it up until recently. It was on marketplace less than 24 hours before I scooped it up. Just finished changing all fluids & plugs. Tires all dry rotted and cracked so that's next on the list if I can figure what size I want to run.
