Hello All, Not sure if I yet stated this but, Thanks for having me here. I've learned a quite a lot about Wranglers from all your help, insight, and posts.
I've always wanted a Jeep since I was a kid. It was the yellow, 1974 C-J5 that actor Marjoe Gortner drove about, with windshield down, and his partner riding shotgun (and blasting away with a shotgun!) giant rodents in 1976's The Food of the Gods that made me a fan of the vehicle.

Anyway, with a confidence assist, and studying specs and build-sheet help from WranglerTJforum member, Alex01, I Purchased my second TJ in August of 2019. Thanks, Alex01!

As far as modifications and builds, I've only touched up the fender scratches and replaced the headlights with LED Truck-Lite knock-offs.
I don't plan to do any rock crawling, but rather during spring and summer months - explore topless and doorless - the fire roads, trails, and other areas around our mountain cabin (sitting at about 4100' of elevation), and perhaps some light mud and snow wheeling in the winter months.
The clutch currently feels good, but I'm thinking I may want to replace it and the throw out bearing around 100K miles, if not sooner.

- New tires and wheels
- Re-paint the faded hardtop to a darker, richer black,
- New brakes
- Acquiring a couple of jerry cans and rack.
- Either buying a tow kit to haul the TJ behind my truck up to our cabin OR simply re-purposing the tow kit from our '99 gold TJ automatic (the tow brackets are visible on the gold Wrangler in the family-image above)
