Oh no, you had the power into the amps ground and vice-versa? You had a nice Alpine amp as well. Ouch! Hopefully it was not a new amplifier. Did you look at the amp's two 30A fuses to rule that out?
I visually inspected the 30A fuses, nothing more. In theory they should be fine because the output wasn't shorted, the input voltage was messed. I wire the battery to ground and vice-versa. I can't believe I was that dumb when I was so careful about everything else. The amp was purchased new way back in 2014 but never installed until now, so no warranty either, even though it was my fault. We'll see if I can send it in and if it isn't totally pooched.
