I need to make a third brake light. It needs to be...

-LED
-about 2" diameter.
-roundish or squarish.
-it would be nice to not clearly see the dots.

This will be mounted on the stock tire mount and will live inside the triangle opening of the spare. I can make or modify the bracket. I mostly need a decent quality red brake light housing.

Something like this and I could replace the bulb with a corncob led.

Xubox Motorcycle Tail Light, Universal Round Motorcycle Brake Trailer Lights Stop Run Light with License Plate Holder for Harley Dyna Sportster Yamaha Chopper License Plate Scooter, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073RMRGMB/?tag=wranglerorg-20

Any ideas?

That might do it. I can make a bracket to float the light in the wheel.

I bought these:

The brightness is about equivalent to the stock halogen brake light, maybe a little brighter.

I also put on a hitch receiver brake/running light:

I made a version of those and added a flasher to them too.

I 3d printed a bucket for a 2" led, when not on the brakes it just looks like a center cap on the spare. There's no bracket, it slips over the wheel studs.

I have more leds and can make another one if interested.

There will be only one light.

Dude that is AUsome. I have seen ones similar for sale but yours has to be the coolest. If I understand correctly, you scanned the center cap and then printed it, then cut out the middle for the LED's?

I designed a bucket to press the 2" led into that would stick out similar to a center cap and printed it in PETG which is basically soda bottle material.

I wonder if that would fit my stock rims. I have the "Ravine" on my '98 Sport. Super Cool AUsome job. I would love to have one.
