Anyone use headers on their TJ?

Okay, I got a pickem up truck, that i am going to put on the s/s lines, cause the steel are rotted out. now it would be better to test on a new car, but all i got is 15 or older vehicles an harder to tune in alignments to perfection. i am not going to replace all suspension parts for this test
now i wasnt going to put on s/s hoses, but for this experiment i will get em, an, I will put on one side a ss an the other side a non ss, an a guage, on both sides an strap a buddy to the underside an video the pressure gauges, to see, if any pressure change differences. an put a gauge to the outside lines to see if any difference in expansion. if greater expansion in non s/s hose, brake will go to the floor a bit more, causing spongy toe syndrome, under " expandsion static fluid law" now on that note. this off topic thread, has brought about the greatest invention in brake line history......the underbody body harness to strap someone under a car, to look for live leaks.....is this the greatest invention in brake line history?....or is it better..... to be unvailed here on wranglertjforum..in the future. its one the auto industry will want to use to protect the people........stay tuned......

I am truly sorry for inquiring further into your comment regarding SS lines. What I had hoped would be a simple response has turned this thread into a maze of random gibberish. While I appreciate the educated responses from you, MrBlaine and others, I feel my quest for answers has caused this thread to veer off course and possibly over a cliff. Haha, I was about to apologize myself. Seriously... I probably shouldn't have even responded. Had I known it was going to devolve into this, I would have just kept my mouth shut and PM'd you about this.
While this thread has actually been educational (with the exception of some magic mushroom inspired comments), it certainly went way, way, way off course.

Revening an old thread! Chasing a fuel demon and I think I may have found my culprit, a cracked header.
I've heard good things about the borla but they discontinued their headers for the TJ.
Am I better off buying another oem header? Or is there a reputable company that makes a good product that will last.
I'm trying to replace broken parts eith oem quality or better. Planning on having them coated too for under hood Temps while I'm at it.
