Hmm.... I'll take your word for it. I can't imaging much difference in the YJ and the TJ in that regard. The YJ sure didn't drive like it was balanced or anywhere near it.
☺Of course it counts ! , but only if the turbo diesel truck that tows the trailered " Jeep" is 4X4....
You don't have to take my word for it. 38 seconds on Google brings up the factory specs.
I think a lot of folks miss that they are practically sitting on the front edge of the rear tires when they are in the front seats.
I’m not sure on the specs between the TJ and YJ, but my YJ I felt like I sat farther back. More like above the rear.

Same. At least it felt like I could reach out my left hand while driving and touch the back wheel.

Speaking of snow driving...I hate to be a traitor yo my gender but is there such a thing as "driving school for chicks who are scared of snow and ice" that doesn't incorporate dads, boyfriends or husbands? Every female patient I had scheduled this week canceled appointments because they were "afraid to drive in the snow" or their boyfriend/husband couldn't drive them. wtf?

Holy crap yes! That is what I'm talking about. The only way to learn and not be afraid is to practice these skills in a controlled environment to prevent panicking and expensive, deadly mistakes. I grew up in Connecticut and part of my drivers Ed was being put into a slide and skid and having to get out of it, besides of course avoiding the situation in the first place. They made us practice and practice til we got it. The most valuable driving training ever. Good fundamentals!
Need to win the lottery would start a custom shop, honest straight forward mechanics, off road and crawling classes and basic drivers Ed. Someone #Kickstart me!!!

Follow your owners manual. I personally like the golf shoe idea. Now snow is less traction 4wd more traction. Enjoy
After I got my license I insisted on going driving every time it snowed! Find an open parking lot and play. Start slow, make it skid. As you get a feel go faster. Nothing like experience!
It's amazing how similar-looking conditions can behave completely differently. I still induce skids to test conditions. Some snow isn't much worse than a wet road. Some ice when you touch the breaks you get full lockup and barely reduce speed. I've put the wheels in a ditch to get traction as I couldn't make it up a small hill on the road!
It's always fun lending a hand, too, and somebody will need it. Could be me!
