After our winter wheeling trip decided to pull the trigger on a tank. My main concern is freezing at 0', one friend has a power tank mounted in a un-heated jeep, reset a bead with no problem, another had a put together set up and he can't use it at all. Powertank is pretty pricey, looking at Instant Air 200 psi regulator. Has anybody used these in 0' weather? Thanks in advance!

Cheap regulators will freeze up with a high volume of CO2 flowing through them, no matter what the ambient air temp is.

Yep the ambient temp doesn't even come close to how cold the regulators get on their own. Edit: A little research revealed the temp of the CO2 coming out of the regulator can be from -70f to -100f.

I got the rest of the parts needed for it at my local hardware store to make it look like this. Make sure to get the "universal" quick connect so it fits both styles of male quick disconnect fittings commonly in use.
