Grew up never having dirtbikes, Mom frowned upon motorized things .
Once I was out of the house, I came across a 1985 Honda Saber 700. This was my first.
Fast forward to 1992 and a first bought in New England a Suzuki RF 600 in blue. Looked like a ferrari to me.
Had that for 2 years and winter was coming, I was going to make a million plowing driveways.... Tried to trade the bike for a plow truck and got rejected.
Saddened, I left the dealership and was passed on the highway by a Porsche, I couldn't have that !!! Downshifted and caught up to it. The gentleman driving, looked over to me, floored it and left me like i wasn't there.
The next day I was approved for a 1994 GSXR 1100 (funny how I was rejected on a practical vehicle).
Traded that a few years later and left the 2 wheel world for 21 years.
46 years old and I was looking for a bike, A Suzuki Hayabusa 1300 (one of the fastest modified bikes out here)
or a Harley ( because of the comradery that comes with them)
It found me, a used 2008 Harley V-Rod modified for drag racing with a after market turbo system and electric shifter. That was 4 years ago and I still love it! Harley with Hayabusa acceleration.
